Sustainable Planning
ParioPlan has had a long-standing commitment to promoting sustainable design and development principles within urban and rural communities throughout western Canada. We do this at various scales - from regional plans and integrated community sustainability plans for towns and cities, to neighbourhoods and individual sites. Many of our high profile, large scale infill projects involve intensification and a new purpose for brownfield and greyfield sites.
Some examples of our sustainable projects include:
• Low Impact Development – Best Management Practices Design Criteria, 2010
• Strathearn Heights Redevelopment (LEEDND Silver Accreditation), 2010
• Saline Creek Area Structure Plan - Sustainable Development Design Charrette, 2007
• Station Pointe Urban Design Plan, 2007
• Sustainable Planning and Development for Small Towns, 2002
Awards:
